Technical Support

Troubleshooting for Rhythmark, with clear steps for sync, purchases, reminders, exports, and beta builds.

Start here

Restart the app once, confirm the device is online, and make sure you are testing the latest App Store or TestFlight build. Your local data remains available even when iCloud is unavailable.

iCloud sync

  1. Confirm the same Apple Account is signed into iCloud on both devices.
  2. Open My → iCloud Sync.
  3. Tap Sync Now and keep the app in the foreground briefly.
  4. Check that iCloud Drive and Rhythmark’s iCloud access are allowed in iOS Settings.

Important: turning sync off does not erase the cloud copy. Use Delete Cloud Copy only when you intentionally want to remove it.

Pro purchase or restore

  1. Open My → Rhythmark Pro.
  2. Make sure the App Store is reachable and prices have loaded.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases if you previously purchased with the same Apple Account.
  4. For subscriptions, use Manage Subscriptions.

Apple processes payments. Do not email card details or passwords.

Reminders

Open My → Reminders, enable Daily Summary, and choose a time. If alerts do not appear, open iOS Settings → Notifications → Rhythmark and allow notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally; no push server is used.

PDF and CSV exports

Open My → Export Data, select a range and format, then use the Apple share sheet. If an export is empty, verify that the selected dates contain records. Reflection notes are included only when you choose to include reflections.

TestFlight builds

Open TestFlight, select Rhythmark, and install the newest available build. Beta access and expiration are managed by Apple. If a build says “No Builds Available,” the group may still be awaiting Beta App Review or the build may not yet be assigned.

Protect your data first

Before reinstalling the app or deleting records, export anything important and confirm iCloud status if you use sync. Reinstalling can remove local-only data. Never delete the cloud copy as a routine troubleshooting step.

When you contact support

Include the Rhythmark version/build, iOS version, device model, the exact steps you took, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot is helpful if it contains no sensitive notes.

Please do not send: passwords, verification codes, full receipts with personal identifiers, payment-card data, or private reflection notes unless strictly necessary.
