1. Apple Standard EULA
Rhythmark is distributed through Apple. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), unless another license is presented by Apple for the app. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA by describing Rhythmark-specific features and purchases. If they conflict, mandatory law and the Standard EULA control.
2. Using Rhythmark
You may use Rhythmark for personal planning, daily records, numeric tracking, reflection, reminders, exports, and other features made available in your version. You are responsible for your device, Apple Account, the accuracy and legality of information you enter, and compliance with applicable law.
Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, infringe rights, or use it to harm another person or service. You must be legally able to accept these terms in your location.
3. Rhythmark Pro and purchases
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account. Apple determines billing, renewal timing, refunds, taxes, price changes, and how a subscription change takes effect.
- Lifetime is a non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the Pro features available to that product, for as long as the app and those features remain offered and supported. It is not a promise that every future product or service will be included forever.
- Restore Purchases asks Apple to restore eligible purchases associated with the Apple Account currently used for App Store purchases.
Prices, availability, free trials, and plan eligibility are those shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation sheet. Do not complete a purchase unless that information is acceptable to you. Manage subscriptions at Apple’s subscription management page.
When changing plans, Rhythmark may show only eligible upgrades based on your current entitlement. Apple controls the final transaction and effective date.
4. Your content and exports
You retain responsibility for the plans, entries, reflections, notes, and other content you create. You grant Rhythmark only the permission technically needed to store, process, display, sync, and export that content at your direction.
You choose where exports are shared. Once information is sent to another app, person, or service, Rhythmark cannot control that copy. Keep your own backups of information that matters to you.
5. iCloud and external services
iCloud sync is optional and depends on Apple’s CloudKit service, your Apple Account, network access, and device settings. Sync can be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable. Turning off sync does not delete an existing cloud copy; use the app’s Delete Cloud Copy action when that is your intent.
Rhythmark may link to or rely on Apple services, email, GitHub Pages, and destinations selected through the share sheet. Those services have separate terms and privacy practices. Their availability is not controlled by Rhythmark.
6. Important disclaimers
Rhythmark is a personal productivity and reflection tool. It does not provide medical, mental-health, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it where failure, delay, or inaccurate information could cause injury or significant loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and the Standard EULA, the app and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer protections.
7. Changes, termination, and contact
Features may change to improve the app, maintain compatibility, address security, or comply with law. Access may end if you materially violate these terms or the Standard EULA. Changes to these terms will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated in the app or release notes.
