Privacy Policy

Rent Check is a rental inspection record and report tool. This policy describes the current app version's basic privacy practices.

1. Information you enter

The app may allow you to enter property details, unit numbers, landlord contact information, utility readings, monthly fees, issue descriptions, and photos. In the current version, these records and generated report files are stored locally on your device by default.

2. Photos and PDF files

If you choose to take photos or select photos from your library, those images are used for your inspection record and may appear in the generated PDF report. You control whether you add, export, or share these files.

3. In-app purchases

The app offers an in-app purchase to unlock a complete report for the selected rental address and unit number. Payment processing is handled by Apple. The developer does not receive your full payment card information.

4. Accounts

The current version does not require account registration or sign-in.

5. Remote servers

The current version is designed for local storage by default. If you share or export a report, that action is initiated by you using Apple system sharing features or another destination you choose.

6. Children's privacy

The app is a general utility tool and is not specifically directed to children.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page.
