Privacy Policy
LeaseLume is designed as a local-first rental inspection and report tool. This policy explains what information is handled, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
1. Information stored on your device
Property and tenancy details, contact details, inspection observations, evidence photos, meter and cost entries, and generated PDF reports are stored locally on your device. LeaseLume does not upload these inspection contents to the Property Pack entitlement service.
2. Information handled by the entitlement service
When you use Sign in with Apple, purchase, or restore a Property Pack, the service may process opaque identifiers needed to verify access, including account, rental-cycle, product, transaction, environment, entitlement, revision, and App Store notification identifiers. These records do not contain your property address, contacts, inspection facts, evidence photos, or PDF reports.
3. Device permissions
LeaseLume asks for camera access only when you choose to capture inspection evidence. When you import an existing image, Apple's system photo picker provides only the items you select. You can review or change camera access in iOS Settings. The app does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, or tracking permission.
4. Service providers
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, restoration, and App Store transaction verification.
- Supabase: managed database for the minimal Property Pack entitlement ledger.
- Render: HTTPS hosting for the Property Pack verification API.
- iOS Mail: if you choose to email a report, the system mail composer handles the message and attachment. LeaseLume does not claim or determine that the recipient received or opened it.
5. Analytics, tracking, and cookies
LeaseLume does not use advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. This legal and support website does not use analytics cookies.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
You can delete inspection records and reports inside the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local data subject to iOS backup behavior. Minimal entitlement and transaction records may be retained where reasonably necessary for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
You can also revoke camera permission in iOS Settings, choose not to email or share a report, and contact us to ask a privacy question or request review of entitlement information associated with your account. We may need to verify your request and may retain records that are required for transaction integrity or legal compliance.
7. Security and known risks
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS transport, opaque account identifiers, hashed session credentials, transaction verification, restricted database access, and separation between local inspection content and the remote entitlement ledger. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Local records may be lost if a device is lost, damaged, reset, or restored without a usable backup. Anyone who can unlock your device may be able to access locally stored inspection content. Reports you export, share, or email leave LeaseLume's local storage and are then handled by the destination you choose. See the Security & Risk Notice for safeguards and recommended steps.
8. International processing
Apple, Supabase, and Render may process limited service data in countries or regions where they operate. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Children
LeaseLume is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are made.
